A pipeline leak starting on October 1st or 2nd creates an oil slick that is currently about 13 square miles off the coast of Huntington Beach and Newport Beach. It appeared that most of the damage is currently Huntington and the north part of Newport Beach. Of particular concern is the seepage into the wetlands of Bolsa Chica and Talbert Marsh.
